Step-by-step math solver
Algebra to calculus, and word problems. Numbered steps, a final answer, and a check of that answer that runs in your browser — so a wrong or missing solution gets caught, not copied.

How it works
- Free, before you pay. As you type, the page parses your math, shows how it read it, and — where it can — computes the answer numerically: the real roots of an equation, the value of an expression, a definite integral, a limit. Nothing is sent.
- The run. The problem and those numeric facts go to the model, which returns numbered steps, a final answer, and the same answer restated in plain calculator syntax.
- The check. Your browser substitutes numbers into that restated answer: each solution back into the equation, a scan for solutions the answer missed, a numeric derivative, a numeric integral, the limit approached from both sides. A failure is shown in red; nothing is hidden.
- Explain a step. Ask about one step, or paste your own working to find where it went wrong. That is a small separate run.
- What it costs. The price shown before a run is a hold — the most it could cost. You are charged what the run actually used, usually much less. No API key, no subscription.
